Lucha Capital (Spanish for "Capital Fight") is a Mexican seasonal professional wrestling streaming television series and tournament produced by Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). Like all professional wrestling events, it is based on scripted storylines and its outcomes are predetermined. [1] The show premiered on October 31, 2018, on Facebook Watch. [2] [3]

The AAA Mega Championship is a professional wrestling world heavyweight championship in the Mexican Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) promotion. Known officially in Spanish as the Mega Campeonato AAA, it is sometimes referred to in the English-language press as the "AAA World Heavyweight Championship". The title is the top championship of the AAA promotion. The current champion is El Hijo del Vikingo.

The Copa Antonio Peña is an annual professional wrestling tournament held by Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) once a year. The tournament is named in memory of Antonio Peña, the founder of AAA that died on October 5, 2006. The tournament is part of the annual Antonio Peña Memorial show held annually around the anniversary of Peña's death. The tournament is a Gauntlet match featuring eight to thirteen AAA wrestlers ranging from mid-card to main eventers. The events are televised as a special feature on Televisa. The Cup is not defended like a championship and does not automatically give the winner a shot at the AAA Mega Championship. As is tradition with AAA major events the wrestlers compete inside a hexagonal wrestling ring and not the four sided ring the promotion uses for television events and house shows.

Psycho Clown is the ring name of a Mexican luchadorenmascarado, or masked professional wrestler currently signed to Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA). Psycho Clown's real name is not a matter of public record, as is often the case with masked wrestlers in Mexico where their private lives are kept a secret from wrestling fans. Part of the Alvarado wrestling family, he is the son of José Alvarado Nieves, who wrestled under the ring name Brazo de Plata, and has previously worked as Brazo de Plata Jr. in tribute to his father. His siblings, Máximo, Goya Kong, Andros de Plata, and Muñeca de Plata are also professional wrestlers

The Lucha Libre World Cup was a two-day professional wrestling event and tournament organized by Mexican professional wrestling promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) with the financial backing of the Grupo Modelo brewery, with Victoria Beer as the official sponsor. The tournament took place on October 9 and October 10 in Tokyo's Shin-Kiba 1st Ring and Korakuen Hall venues, marking the first time the tournament has been held outside AAA's home country of Mexico. The 2017 edition of the tournament also marked the first to feature traditional two-man tag teams, as the previous tournaments had featured a number of three-man tag teams, referred to as trios in Lucha Libre. The tournament showcased teams representing numerous international promotions such as the Inoki Genome Federation (IGF), Impact Wrestling, and Pro Wrestling Noah among others.

The Crash Lucha Libre, also referred to as simply The Crash, is a lucha libre promotion based in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. The promotion largely runs its events in Tijuana, Mexico City, and Monterrey. She made her debut in 2009 and until 2015 worked under the more generic name Sexy Lady before adopting her current name that same year. Initially she portrayed a ruda but in 2017 she changed sides and became a tecnica. She is the cousin of Ludark Shaitan, with whom she both teamed with and fought against early in her career. Alejandro Cota is a Mexican luchador, or professional wrestler known by his ring name as Mocho Cota Jr., currently working for the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide (AAA) portraying a rudo wrestling character. He is the son of the original Mocho Cota and had a brother who worked as Tayco.

The April 30 event took place at Estadio de Béisbol Monterrey in Monterrey, the June 18 event took place at Estadio Caliente Xoloitzcuintles in Tijuana and the October 15 event took place at Arena Ciudad de México in Mexico City. It marked the 30th year in a row that AAA has held a Triplemanía show and comprised the 37th, 38th, and 39th overall shows held under the Triplemanía banner since 1993. The annual Triplemanía show is AAA's biggest event of the year, serving as the culmination of major storylines in what has been described as AAA's version of WrestleMania or their Super Bowl event. Held as part of AAA's 30th Anniversary Tour, Triplemanía XXX was the first Triplemanía event since 1996 to be held across three days. The event aired on PPV via the FITE TV service.
