Maple Plain Library is a public Hennepin County Library in Maple Plain, Minnesota. It is located on 5184 Main Street East. [1] The library has operated out of several locations since 1922 when it opened its doors. The current and permanent location opened in 1973. The library offers meeting room spaces and technology and computer services. Their collection holds Spanish materials in their language collection. The Maple Plain Library served wide area including the towns around the border of Hennepin and Wright counties. These towns in the service area include Loretto, Minnestrista, Orono, and Greenfield. Library service in Maple Plain began in 1922 out of an old Post Office building on Main Street. The first librarian in the Maple Plain library was Amanda Johnson who served from 1923- 1959. After operating in the post office for a few years the library then moved to a lot adjoining Ms. Johnson's home. The village pain Johnson $10/ year for the use of her land. The building on the Johnson lot was remodeled to be heated with a parlor furnace. In 1959 Johnson fell breaking her hip and retired. The librarian replacing Johnson was Pearl Gotham in the same location until 1963. In 1964 the library then moved in 1964 to the old State Bank building on Main St. It then again moved in 1973 to its permanent location. The building as the Miller store building on Main St. The Miller Store previously had been a local convenience store and after a fire destroyed almost half of it, it was then used as a gas station. The Minneapolis Public Library (MPL) was a library system that served the residents of Minneapolis, Minnesota in the United States. It was founded in 1885 with the establishment of the Minneapolis Library Board by an amendment to the Minneapolis City Charter. Lumber baron and philanthropist T. B. Walker and other city leaders such as Thomas Lowry were members of the first library board. In 2008, after some financial difficulties, the library was merged into the Hennepin County Library system. At the time of its merger, the library included Central Library in downtown Minneapolis and fourteen branch libraries. Its collection numbered about 3.1 million items with about 2.2 million of these housed in the central library.

The Sausalito Library is a public library serving the City of Sausalito and environs in Marin County, California. The library opened in 1974 at its present location of 420 Litho Street in Sausalito. The library collection consists of over 64,000 books, periodicals, CDs, DVDs, and audiobooks. Services offered include programs for adults and children, Internet access, online databases, downloadable e-books and e-audiobooks, home delivery for seniors, museum passes, and assistance with downloading library ebooks onto personal devices. The library started in the 1920s when the extension division of the Saint Paul Public Library provided books for various public schools in the county outside of Saint Paul. Fidelity Building (Knoxville) United States historic place

The Fidelity Building is an office building in Knoxville, Tennessee, United States. Initially constructed in 1871 for the wholesale firm Cowan, McClung and Company, the building underwent an exterior renovation and was converted to Fidelity-Bankers Trust Company in 1929 and has since been renovated for use as office space. In 1984, the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places for its architecture and its role in Knoxville's late-nineteenth century wholesaling industry.

Eden Prairie Library

The Eden Prairie Library is located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota and is one of 41 libraries of the Hennepin County Library system. The 40,000 square foot building houses a collection of 150,000 items, an automated materials handling system (AMH) for check in and rough sortation of materials, 82 public computers, two meeting rooms, a reading lounge with fireplace, a teen area, a children's area with a Family Reading Lounge, and several installations of artwork. At the time of its opening in 2004, the Eden Prairie Library was the first public building in Minnesota to incorporate a hydrogen fuel cell to produce electricity.

Webber Park Library is a public library in Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. Its primary service area is the Camden, Minneapolis community. The library was one of thirteen branch libraries established under the leadership of Gratia Countryman, the chief librarian of the Minneapolis Public Library from 1904 to 1936. After starting as a delivery station in a drugstore and being housed in two buildings within Webber Park, it was in temporary quarters in a shopping center from 2014-2017. The current building opened in May 2017 on the site of the previous buildings.

The 1973 building was itself a replacement for a Carnegie library which was on the site from 1915 until 1972.

Hopkins Library

Library service to the Hopkins, Minnesota community was established more than 100 years ago, when the library was housed in City Hall. The library moved to the historic Dow House in 1948 and then temporarily to a vacant restaurant in 1963. The library opened in its current location in 1968 and was renovated in 2002. The library joined Hennepin County Library in 1973.
