The New Orleans Saints Radio Network is a radio network which carries games of the New Orleans Saints. The flagship stations of the radio network is 870 WWL-AM and 105.3 WWL-FM in New Orleans. Many of the stations that broadcast these games are almost entirely located around the Gulf Coast region, with stations mostly located in Louisiana and Mississippi with a few exceptions. [1]

The year 1947 saw a number of significant happenings in radio broadcasting history.
WWL is a U.S. AM radio station in New Orleans, Louisiana, owned by Audacy, Inc. The station has a talk radio format with sports talk at night. Studios are at the 400 Poydras Tower in the New Orleans Central Business District.
WRQQ is a classic hits music formatted radio station serving the Baton Rouge, Louisiana, area. The station is owned by Cumulus Media and its city of license is Hammond, Louisiana. Its studios are located downtown and the transmitter tower is southeast of Denham Springs, Louisiana.
WDGL is a commercial radio station licensed to Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The station is owned by Guaranty Broadcasting, and airs a classic rock radio format. WDGL calls itself "The ROCK Station." It is the flagship radio station for the Louisiana State University Tigers sports broadcasts, sharing that status with WWL in New Orleans. Since 2013, it is the Capital Region's affiliate for New Orleans Saints games. Along with four sister stations, its studios and offices are in the Guaranty Group building on Government Street east of downtown.
Louisiana Public Broadcasting (LPB) is a state network of Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) member television stations serving the U.S. state of Louisiana. The stations are operated by the Louisiana Educational Television Authority, an agency created by the executive department of the Louisiana state government which holds the licenses for six of the seven PBS member stations licensed in the state. United Radio Broadcasters of New Orleans was a consortium of radio stations in Greater New Orleans, Louisiana, formed in response to the crisis of Hurricane Katrina. It began on September 1, 2005. Led by WWL-AM, the stations shared equipment, space, and personnel, and simulcast public affairs and public service programming—including efforts to reunite families.
The New England Patriots Radio Network is a radio network which carries live game broadcasts of the New England Patriots. The network's flagship station is WBZ-FM in Boston. Bob Socci, who now does the play-by-play with former Patriots quarterback Scott Zolak providing the color commentary and former Patriots linebacker Matt Chatham and WBZ-TV/WSBK-TV sports reporter Steve Burton providing the sideline reports. Marc Bertrand and Boston Globe sports columnist Chris Gasper host the pregame, and the postgame show is hosted by Bertrand. Albert Breer and Patriots Football Weekly writers Paul Perillo and Andy Hart are regular guest analysts on the network's pre-game show.
The Boston Red Sox Radio Network is an American radio network composed of 54 radio stations which carry English language coverage of the Boston Red Sox, a professional baseball team in Major League Baseball (MLB). Lawrence, Massachusetts station WEEI-FM (93.7 FM), which serves Boston and the Greater Boston area, serves as the network's Flagship. The network also includes 49 affiliates in the U.S. states of Massachusetts, Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Hampshire, New York, and Florida: 28 AM stations, 24 of which supplement their signals with one or more FM translators; and 21 full-power FM stations, one of which supplements its signal with several FM translators. Joe Castiglione currently serves as the network's play-by-play announcer; since the start of the 2020 Red Sox season, Will Flemming, Sean McDonough, Jon Sciambi, Dave O'Brien, Dale Arnold and Tom Caron have alternated with Castiglione providing color commentary. In addition to traditional over-the-air AM and FM broadcasts, network programming airs on SiriusXM satellite radio; and streams online via SiriusXM Internet Radio, TuneIn Premium, and MLB.com Gameday Audio.
WWLS-FM is a commercial radio station licensed to The Village, Oklahoma, and serving the Oklahoma City metropolitan area. It is owned by Cumulus Media and airs a sports radio format, calling itself "The Sports Animal." Local hosts are heard weekday mornings, afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends. WWLS-FM is the flagship station for the Oklahoma City Thunder in the National Basketball Association.

Air New Orleans was an airline based in Birmingham, Alabama that was conceived as a commuter air carrier to provide scheduled passenger service to cities throughout the Southeastern United States from Texas to Florida. The airline was founded in 1981 in Panama City, Florida and operated scheduled passenger service between 1981 and 1988.

"Louisiana Saturday Night" is a song written by Bob McDill and recorded by American country music artist Mel McDaniel. It was released in March 1981 as the third single from McDaniel's 1980 album, I'm Countryfied. The song was originally sung by Don Williams on his 1977 album "Country Boy". The song is often mistakenly attributed to popular country music bands Alabama and the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band. Adding to the confusion, Tom T. Hall wrote an earlier, unrelated song by the same name. Hall's "Louisiana Saturday Night" was recorded by Mamou, Louisiana's Jimmy C. Newman in 1967.
Adley Hogan Gladden was lieutenant colonel and second commander of the Palmetto Regiment of South Carolina volunteers during the Mexican–American War and a brigadier general in the Confederate States Army during the American Civil War. He impressed General Braxton Bragg after defending Pensacola from Union Army bombardment and after a brief assignment at Mobile, Alabama, he was brought to Corinth, Mississippi, to command a brigade in the Army of Mississippi. He was mortally wounded at the Battle of Shiloh.

Its flagship station is KMOX in St. Louis. Due to an earlier deal with KTRS, it is still a partial owner of that station although Cardinals games no longer air on KTRS.
