A common feature or unwritten rule of talk shows is to be based on "fresh talk", which is talk that is spontaneous or has the appearance of spontaneity.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show was an American daytime televising variety comedy talk show created and hosted by its namesake Ellen DeGeneres that aired for 19 seasons from September 8, 2003, to May 26, 2022, in syndication and was produced by Telepictures.
