The 30-minute weekend editions, branded as PBS News Weekend, have been anchored by John Yang since December 31, 2022.

American Morning debuted with anchors Paula Zahn and Anderson Cooper on the day after the September 11 attacks, five months earlier than planned, replacing CNN Early Edition and CNN Live This Morning.
CBS This Morning (CTM) was an American morning television program that aired on CBS from November 30, 1987 to October 29, 1999, and again from January 9, 2012 to September 6, 2021. The program was aired from Monday through Saturday. It aired live from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. in the Eastern Time Zone. On weekdays, it aired on a tape-delay in the Central and Mountain Time Zones; stations in the Pacific, Alaska and Hawaii Time Zones received an updated feed with a specialized opening and updated live reports. Stations outside the Eastern Time Zone carried the Saturday broadcast at varied times. The two incarnations of CTM were the eighth and tenth distinct morning news-features program formats to air on CBS since 1954. On November 1, 1999, the original incarnation was replaced by The Early Show, which was replaced by the second one on January 9, 2012.
Ali Velshi is a Canadian television journalist, a senior economic and business correspondent for NBC News, and an anchor for MSNBC. He was also a substitute anchor for Top Story with Tom Llamas on NBC News Now at weeknights and The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell on MSNBC at Friday night. Velshi is based in New York City. Known for his work on CNN, he was CNN's Chief Business Correspondent, anchor of CNN's Your Money and a co-host of CNN International's weekday business show World Business Today. In 2013, he joined Al Jazeera America, a channel that launched in August of that year. He hosted Ali Velshi on Target until Al Jazeera America ceased operations on April 12, 2016. He has worked for MSNBC since October 2016.

He previously worked for Al Jazeera and CNN. He was one of the first Western journalists allowed to enter and report on the handing over and trial of the deposed President of Iraq Saddam Hussein by the Iraqi Interim Government for crimes against humanity. Mohyeldin has also covered the 2008–09 Gaza War as well as the Arab Spring.
Up, branded in its final incarnation as Up with David Gura, was a news and opinion television program that aired weekends on MSNBC. The program debuted September 17, 2011, as Up with Chris Hayes, and was hosted by Hayes until March 2013 when he left to host All In with Chris Hayes, a new MSNBC weekday primetime program. Steve Kornacki's first episode aired April 13, 2013; he left in October 2015 for MSNBC dayside. The program ended in January 2016 for MSNBC's special political coverage. MSNBC Live aired in its place with Alex Witt and Frances Rivera from 2016 to 2018. The program was revived in 2018, hosted by David Gura until it was replaced in 2020 by a new program hosted by Ali Velshi.
Kristen Welker is an American television journalist working for NBC News. She serves as a White House correspondent based in Washington, D.C., and served as co-anchor of Weekend Today, the Saturday edition of Today, alongside Peter Alexander from 2020 to 2023. She took over hosting duties for the longest-running program in television history, Meet the Press, on September 17, 2023.
The Reid Report is an hour-long weekday U.S. and world political commentary program on MSNBC. Hosted by Joy-Ann Reid, it premiered on February 24, 2014, in the time slot formerly occupied by NewsNation with Tamron Hall. The show ended on February 27, 2015 due to low ratings, and Reid was shifted to another role as MSNBC national correspondent. Reid later hosted AM Joy, a weekend-morning talk show on MSNBC from May 2016 to July 2020, when she was moved to the 7pm weeknight slot to host The ReidOut, which replaced the slot occupied by Hardball with Chris Matthews, making her cable's first Black female primetime anchor.
Stephanie Ruhle-Hubbard is the host of MSNBC's The 11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle and the NBC News Senior Business analyst. Previously, Ruhle was managing editor and news anchor for Bloomberg Television and editor-at-large for Bloomberg News. Ruhle co-hosted the Bloomberg Television show Bloomberg GO and was one of three Bloomberg reporters who broke the story identifying the trader behind the 2012 JPMorgan Chase trading loss.
The 11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle is an American nightly news and politics television program airing weeknights at 11:00 pm ET on MSNBC that premiered on September 6, 2016. It was hosted by Brian Williams until December 9, 2021. The show began utilizing a rotating list of guest hosts on December 13, 2021. Stephanie Ruhle was named the subsequent full time host on March 2, 2022.
Deadline: White House is an American news and politics television program airing weekdays from 4 to 6 p.m. ET on MSNBC. It is hosted by NBC News senior political analyst Nicolle Wallace.
