Tajikistan Cricket Federation is the governing body for cricket in Tajikistan. [1] [2] Cricket in Tajikistan is still in its nascent stage, with the Tajikistan national cricket team only being granted associate status by the International Cricket Council in 2021. [3]

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Afghanistan national cricket team</span>

The Afghanistan men's national cricket team represents Afghanistan in international cricket. Cricket has been played in Afghanistan since the mid-19th century, but it was only in the early 21st century that the national team began to enjoy success. The Afghanistan Cricket Board was formed in 1995, becoming an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2001 and a member of the cricket confederation, Asian Cricket Council (ACC) in 2003. After nearly a decade of playing international cricket, on 22 June 2017 full ICC membership was granted to Afghanistan. Alongside Ireland, this took the number of Test cricket playing nations to twelve. Afghanistan is the first country to achieve Full Member status after holding Affiliate Membership of the ICC. In view of the persistent conflict and insecurity in Afghanistan, following this status, the team moved to a new home ground in Dehradun, in India. The current home ground of the Afghanistan Men's Cricket team is the Sharjah Cricket Stadium in the UAE.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Oman national cricket team</span> Mens team

The Oman men's national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Oman in international matches and is governed by Oman Cricket, which became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2000, and gained associate status in 2014. The national side has played matches at the Twenty20 International level. On 24 April 2019, Oman achieved One-Day International status for the first time until 2023, after they beat tournament hosts Namibia by four wickets in 2019 ICC World Cricket League Division Two.

Mohammad Kabir Khan is a Pakistani cricket coach and former player. He represented the Pakistan national cricket team from 1994 to 2000 as a left-arm fast bowler, playing four Test and ten One Day International (ODI) matches.

The Lesotho national cricket team is the team that represents Lesotho in international cricket. They became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2001 and an associate member in 2017.

The Bulgaria national cricket team represents Bulgaria in international cricket. The team is organised by the Bulgarian Cricket Federation, which became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) in 2008 and an associate member in 2017. Bulgaria made its international debut in 2004, at the ECC Representative Championship in Slovenia. The Russia national cricket team is the team that represents the Russian Federation in international cricket. In 2012, they were officially endorsed by the International Cricket Council (ICC) as an Affiliate member and were therefore entitled to participate in ICC Official events. Since 2017, they became an Associate Member In April 2018, the ICC decided to grant full Twenty20 International (T20I) status to all its members. Therefore, all Twenty20 matches played between Russia and other ICC Members after 1 January 2019 will be a full T20I.

The Cameroon national cricket team is the men's team that represents Cameroon in international cricket. The team is organised by the Cameroon Cricket Federation, which gained affiliate membership of the International Cricket Council (ICC) on 29 June 2007 and became an associate member in 2017. However, the national side did not make its debut until 2011, when it played in the 2011 Africa Division Three tournament in Ghana.

Before that it was an affiliate member and has been a member of that body since 2001. It is also a member of the Asian Cricket Council.

The Afghan Sports Federation has promoted many types of sports, including basketball, bodybuilding, boxing, bowling, cricket, football, golf, mountaineering, paragliding, skating, skiing, snooker, taekwondo, track and field, volleyball, and weightlifting. The traditional sport of Afghanistan has been Buzkashi, which is now occasionally seen in the northern parts of the country.

Mohammad Shahzad Mohammadi is a former Afghan cricketer. He is a right-handed opening batsman and a wicketkeeper. He made his international debut for Afghanistan in August 2009 against the Netherlands.

The Afghanistan women's national cricket team was the team that represented the country of Afghanistan in international women's cricket matches. The team was first established in 2010, but played only a single tournament amidst opposition from Islamists opposed to women's sport. An attempt at revival was made in 2020 when the Afghanistan Cricket Board awarded central contracts to 25 players. However, the team was disbanded following the 2021 Taliban offensive and capture of Kabul in accordance with the Taliban's ban on women's sport.

The Uzbekistan national cricket team represents the nation of Uzbekistan in international cricket and administered by Cricket Federation of Uzbekistan. In July 2022, the International Cricket Council (ICC) inducted the team as an Associate Member, becoming the 25th member in the Asia region.
