Zagreb Film Festival (ZFF) is an annual film festival held since 2003 in Zagreb, Croatia. Focusing on promoting young and upcoming filmmaker, the festival is widely considered to be one of the most important and influential cultural events in Croatia. [1] [2] [3] [4] It also regularly features several international programmes for the filmmaker's first or second films made. [5]
Each festival edition usually features three international competition programs (for feature films, short films, and documentary films), and one short film competition program for Croatian filmmakers. In addition, the festival often hosts non-competitive screenings, such as selections of children's films or screenings of debut works made by established film directors.
Since 2006 the festival's main award is called Golden Pram. From 2003 to 2005 the main award was called Golden Bib.

Cinéfest Sudbury International Film Festival, also known as Cinéfest and Cinéfest Sudbury is an annual film festival in Greater Sudbury, Ontario, Canada, held over nine days each September. It is one of the largest film festivals in Canada.

Bernhard Rammerstorfer is an Austrian author and film director. His book Unbroken Will is a biography of the Austrian Jehovah's Witness and Holocaust survivor Leopold Engleitner. He later made a documentary film with the same title. His 2012 documentary Ladder in the Lions' Den, made with A. Ferenc Gutai, received a special jury mention at the online European International Film Festival in 2016, and took second place in the "Best Festival Film" category and won the "Best Documentary Film Award" at the Switzerland International Film Festival in 2018.

Academia Film Olomouc (AFO) is an international science documentary film festival in Olomouc, Czech Republic, held each April under the patronage of Palacký University. Riga International Short Film Festival 2ANNAS is the only annual short film festival in Latvia. Founded by its current director Viesturs Grazdanovics in 1996, the festival has since taken place every year in late May, until in 2013 it moved to late October in Riga (Latvia). Screenings take place in several film theaters as well as popular alternative entertainment venues and non-conventional screening venues. Originally created to promote short film, the festival has widened its range by adding a feature film competition program in its 2014 selection.
