The 2015 WNBA season for the Washington Mystics of the Women's National Basketball Association was scheduled to begin June 5, 2015. [1]
In the first round of the 2015 WNBA Draft, the Washington Mystics selected Ally Malott from University of Dayton as the eighth pick. [2] The Mystics selected Natasha Cloud from Saint Joseph's University in the second round with the fifteenth overall pick, [2] and Maria Gajic from Bosnia in the third round with the thirty-second overall pick. [2]

Throughout her playing career, Harding played for the Minnesota Lynx, Washington Mystics, Atlanta Dream, Los Angeles Sparks, New York Liberty and Phoenix Mercury of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA) and has played overseas in Turkey and Russia. She was previously a scout and a player development coach for the Philadelphia 76ers. She was born in Mobile, Alabama, but grew up in Houston, Texas.
Kia Vaughn is an American born professional women's basketball player for the Phoenix Mercury of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She attended high school at St. Michael's All Girls High School in New York, and later went on to star at Rutgers University.

The 2017 WNBA season for the Washington Mystics of the Women's National Basketball Association is scheduled to begin May 13, 2017. The Mystics got off to a strong start, posting a 10–5 record in May and June. After a 4–4 July, the Mystics struggled to finish out the season. A 4–6 finish saw them place third in the Eastern Conference, and earn the 6th overall seed in the playoffs. Strong performances from star players allowed the Mystics to win in the First Round over the Dallas Wings and in the Second Round over the New York Liberty. In the Semifinals, the Mystics were swept by the Minnesota Lynx 0–3.

The 2020 WNBA draft was the league's draft for the 2020 WNBA season. A draft lottery was held on September 17, 2019 and the New York Liberty were awarded the first overall pick in the draft. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the draft was held virtually without players, guests, and the media on-site. The draft was televised as planned; it was the most-watched WNBA draft in 16 years and the second most-watched in ESPN's history.
