Jamuna State Guest House is the official guest house of the government of Bangladesh for visiting heads of states located in Ramna Thana, Dhaka. [2] [3]
In 2009 after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was elected she moved to Jamuna State Guest House as the official residence of the Prime Minister, Gonobhaban, was being renovated. [4] She moved from her private residence to the guest house on the advice of intelligence agencies who were concerned over her security. [5]

Archbishop House also known as Kakrail Church is an architecturally significant residence and church situated in Kakrail, Ramna Thana, Dhaka, Bangladesh. It was first built in 1925, with a chapel on the east end. It had evolved 1947 in Lakkibazar and in 1957 it transferred to Kakrail. The present church was renovated in 1976. There are Gothic and Renaissance motifs inside and outside the structure and it is considered to be a fine example of post colonial fusion architecture. The Daily Star reported in 2009 that official listing as a national heritage site was imminent, but six years later the Department of Archaeology was still preparing the list of buildings to be preserved.

Bangabandhu Memorial Museum, also known as Bangabandhu Bhaban or Dhanmondi 32, located in Dhanmondi, Dhaka, Bangladesh, was the personal residence of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who was also called Bangabandhu, the founder and president of Bangladesh. Mujib was assassinated with most members of his family in this residence. In 2009, RAJUK declared the museum a national heritage site.
