Jang Yoon-jeong is a South Korean trot singer, commonly referred to as “The Queen of Trot”. Jang debuted in 1999 and became well-known in 2004 when her single "Eomeona!" topped the charts. The song is often credited with helping re-popularize trot music in South Korea. In 2017, a Gallup poll found that Jang was the third-most popular singer in the country. She often appears on the KBS 1TV 'Golden Oldies ’, as well as other singing programmes.
Park Myung-soo is a South Korean comedian, MC, singer, and songwriter who debuted on television in 1993, appearing on MBC. He co-hosted the top-rated comic variety programme Infinite Challenge and also hosted the Date at 2 o'clock radio show. He has released several music singles, including "Prince of the Sea", which was covered by LPG in 2007.
Lupin is the third Korean extended play (EP) by South Korean girl group Kara, released on February 17, 2010, by DSP. The concept and artwork of the album is based on French writer Maurice Leblanc's fictional gentleman thief, Arsène Lupin. The EP sold over 64,000 copies in 2010, ranking as the 16th best-selling album of the year in South Korea.
Kim Hak-chul, better known by his stage name Kim Yeon-woo is a South Korean male singer, vocal coach, and professor at Seoul Art College. Nicknamed God of Vocals, he is well known for his ballads, smooth singing voice, and ability to hit high notes without difficulty. Kim recorded a number of hit ballads with the South Korean band, Toy, in the mid-to-late 1990s, gathering a sizable cult following. In 2011, Kim achieved widespread fame and recognition in South Korea through his participation on I Am a Singer, along with numerous appearances on variety and entertainment shows.
Jung Eun-ji, better known mononymously as Eunji, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, actress, radio DJ, musical actress, and voice actress. She is best known as a member of the South Korean girl group Apink. Jung made her acting debut in the coming-of-age drama Reply 1997 in 2012. She has since had roles in That Winter, the Wind Blows (2013), Lovers of Music (2014), Cheer Up! (2015), Untouchable (2017), Work Later, Drink Now (2021–2022) and Blind (2022) in addition to various voice acting roles. She released her debut solo extended play Dream in 2016.
Baek A-yeon is a South Korean singer and songwriter signed under Eden Entertainment. She is best known as the second runner-up contestant of K-pop Star.
Twice is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment. The group is composed of nine members: Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, and Tzuyu. Twice was formed under the television program Sixteen (2015) and debuted on October 20, 2015, with the extended play (EP) The Story Begins, and has received the honorific title of "The Nation's Girl Group" in their home country.
Lee Jin-ah is a South Korean singer-songwriter and jazz pianist. After finishing in third place on SBS's K-pop Star 4, she signed with Antenna in 2015. Her distinctive musical style combines jazz with pop and R&B, often featuring whimsical lyrics.
Shin Hyo-seob, professionally known as Crush (크러쉬), is a South Korean record producer and singer-songwriter. Crush often uses Jazz musical instruments in his style of music, implementing modern tunes. He debuted on April 1, 2014, with the single "Sometimes" and released his first album Crush on You on June 5, 2014.
Hwang Min-hyun, known mononymously as Minhyun, is a South Korean singer, songwriter and actor. He began his professional career in 2012 as a lead vocalist of the South Korean boy group NU'EST. In 2017, he participated in second season of Produce 101 and finished ninth place, becoming a member of Wanna One. Following Wanna One's disbandment, Hwang re-joined NU'EST, remaining in the group until its disbandment in 2022. He is currently a solo artist and actor signed under Pledis Entertainment.
Ong Seong-wu is a South Korean singer and actor. He is known for his participation in the survival reality show Produce 101 Season 2, where he finished in fifth place, and is a former member of the show's derivative boy group Wanna One. Following Wanna One's disbandment, Ong made his acting debut with cast At Eighteen (2019). He also established his career as a solo artist with the release of his first extended play, Layers, on March 25, 2020.
Weeekly is a South Korean girl group under IST Entertainment. The group is Play M Entertainment's second girl group in 10 years, after Apink. The group consists of six members: Lee Soo-jin, Monday, Park So-eun, Lee Jae-hee, Jihan and Zoa. The group debuted on June 30, 2020, with their debut EP, We Are. Originally a septet, Shin Ji-yoon left the group on June 1, 2022.
Corey Lee is a Korean-American chef and restaurateur based in San Francisco. In 2014, his flagship restaurant, Benu, became the first in San Francisco to receive three stars from the Michelin Guide, making Lee the first Korean chef to garner that accolade. In 2019, Benu made its debut on The World's 50 Best Restaurants. Lee is also a two-time James Beard Award winner, a former Food & Wine Best New Chef, and a Goodwill Ambassador to Seoul.
Kim Ho-joong is a South Korean classical crossover singer. He came to prominence after a fourth-place finish in TV Chosun show Mr. Trot. During his military service, he served as a public service worker and was discharged on June 9, 2022.
"Rollin'" is a song by South Korean girl group Brave Girls. It was released on March 7, 2017, as the lead single from the EP of the same name. Written by Brave Brothers, Two Champ, and Chakun, the song has been characterized as a dance-pop track that incorporates elements of tropical house. A rearranged version of the song titled "Rollin' " was released on August 11, 2018, as a thank-you to the group's fans for their support of the original version.
Lee Seok-hoon is a South Korean singer and a member of the trio SG Wannabe. He is also active as a solo artist and musical actor. Alongside his solo activities, he has appeared on various music variety shows such as Immortal Songs: Singing the Legend, King of Mask Singer, Fantastic Duo, Duet Song Festival, Vocal Play and Miss Back as either a performer or a guest judge.
Lee Mu-jin is a South Korean singer and songwriter. He rose to fame after appearing on the music audition show Sing Again in 2020, in which he finished in 3rd place. His 2021 single, "Traffic Light", spent three weeks at number one on South Korea's Gaon Digital Chart. Since 2022, he is the main host on KBS music web show, LeeMujin Service.
The 2021 SBS Drama Awards, presented by Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS), was held on December 31, 2021, at 21.00 (KST) at SBS Prism Tower, Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul. The show was hosted by Shin Dong-yup and Kim Yoo-jung consecutively for 2nd year. The prelude to drama awards to be aired on SBS TV was released on December 13, 2021. Grand Prize (Daesang) was awarded to Kim So-yeon.
"Counting Stars" is a song by South Korean rapper Be'O featuring Beenzino. It was released on December 12, 2021, through FameUs Entertainment. It was nominated for Hip-Hop Track of the Year at the Korean Hip-Hop Awards and peaked at number one the Gaon Digital Chart.
Woo Ji-hyun is a South Korean actor. He is known for his roles in dramas such as The Veil, Mouse, A Piece of Your Mind and All of Us Are Dead. He also appeared in movies In Between Seasons, The Witness, I Can Speak and Kim Ji-young: Born 1982.
