Four artists tie for having the most songs (including features) in the top 100; The Weeknd, English and Albanian singer Dua Lipa, American singer and rapper Post Malone, and American musician Bruno Mars each have five. The newest song in the top 100 is "Flowers" by Miley Cyrus (2023), while the oldest song is Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" (1975).
There are ten songs known to have claimed the top ranking, starting with "Viva la Vida" by the British rock band Coldplay in 2008. Spotify's most-streamed song for the longest period of time was "Shape of You" (2017) by the English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran.
Currently, more than 640 songs have surpassed one billion streams on Spotify, [1] 82 have surpassed two billion, and nine have surpassed three billion. "Blinding Lights" by the Weeknd is the only song that has surpassed the four billion mark.

The song marks the second collaboration between the two artists, following Bieber's song, "Unstable", a track from his sixth studio album, Justice (2021).
