The Samaritan Health Services (SHS) is a non-profit, integrated delivery healthcare system consisting of five hospitals in Oregon and is headquartered in Corvallis, Oregon.
SHS operates five hospitals and has over five hundred employed providers in Oregon. The largest hospitals are two Acute Care Hospitals in Corvallis and Albany, and three Critical Access Hospitals(CAHs) in Lebanon, Newport, and Lincoln City.

Samaritan Albany General Hospital ( 44°37′55″N123°06′59″W / 44.63186°N 123.11632°W ) is a 76-bed medical facility in Albany, Oregon. Services include a level IV trauma center, [6] as well as the first open magnetic resonance imaging facility in the middle Willamette Valley. [7]

Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital ( 44°33′04″N122°54′27″W / 44.5511°N 122.9076°W ) is a 25-bed critical access care facility at 525 N. Santiam Hwy, Lebanon, Oregon, United States. It provides services to eastern Linn County. [9]

Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospital ( 44°37′45″N124°03′32″W / 44.6291°N 124.0590°W ) is a 25-bed acute care medical facility at 930 SW Abbey Newport, Oregon, United States. [11] Services include a level IV trauma center. [12]
The hospital was built in 1952 as a 17-bed acute care facility. Since then, it has been remodeled and expanded to meet the growing needs of the community. Currently, the hospital is a 25-bed critical access hospital, with 380 employees, 110 of whom are nurses, and 120 volunteers. [13]
It is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO). [14]

In 2018, Doug Boysen, former vice president and General Counsel, was appointed as CEO of the health system. [15] Bob Turngren MD was hired a few months later as Chief Medical Officer.
SHS is partnered with the InterCommunity Health Network (IHN) Coordinated Care Organization (CCO). [16] IHN was formed in 2012 by local public, private, and non-profit partners to unify health services and systems for Oregon Health Plan (Medicaid) members in Benton, Lincoln, and Linn Counties [17] and covers almost fifty five thousand individuals.
In 2017 SHS was listed as one of three finalists for the 2017 American Hospital Association Foster G. McGaw Prize for Excellence in Community Service, [18] [19] a national award that recognizes hospitals and hospital systems for improving the healthcare of their patients and communities.
In 2018, the Portland Business Journal listed SHS as the Healthiest Employer of Oregon, 5000 or More Employees, ranked by Healthiest Employers Index Score. [20] This was the sixth time it received recognition in one of the categories for Healthiest Employer. [21] The award was created to recognize organizations that are committed to creating a healthy workplace.

Legacy Emanuel Medical Center is a hospital located in the Eliot neighborhood of Portland, Oregon, United States. Founded in 1912, it is one of only two Level I trauma centers in the state of Oregon, and home to the only burn center between Seattle and Sacramento. The hospital is also home to the Life Flight Network (MEDEVAC), the first of its kind instituted on the U.S. West Coast. The 554-bed facility provides a full range of services, including conventional surgery, heart treatment, critical care, neurology/stroke care/brain surgery, and care for high-risk pregnancies. Phoenix Children's Hospital is a freestanding pediatric acute care children's hospital located in Phoenix, Arizona. The hospital has 457 pediatric beds and is affiliated with the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. Phoenix Children's also partners with Valleywise Health for a 3-year pediatric residency training program.
