Afro-Jordanians are Jordanians of Black African heritage. Afro-Jordanians speak Arabic and mostly adhere to Islam. Most Afro-Jordanians are concentrated in the Southwest parts of Jordan. [2]

Scotland Against Criminalising Communities (SACC) is a voluntary grassroots organisation that campaigns against Britain's terrorism laws, including detention without charge or trial, and other laws that have the effect of criminalising political activity. SACC works in solidarity with those communities most affected by the anti-terrorism laws and it has also campaigned on a number of other human rights issues closely related to the 'war on terror'. Badminton has been part of the Arab Games since 1999 in Amman, Jordan. Syria tops the medal table, having won 15 gold medals, 3 silvers and 3 bronze medals. Algeria won four golds and two silvers while Egypt won a gold, three silvers and six bronzes. Sudan won its first medal in badminton at the 2007 Pan Arab Games.

Moreno Venezuelans are Venezuelans who are multiracial. It usually refers to multiracial Venezuelans who are either mulatto, mestizo, pardo, or zambo; this includes Moreno Venezuelans with European ancestry who intermarried those of non-Spanish European ancestry, such as Italian, Portuguese, and German. Some Moreno Venezuelans are also mixed with Asian ancestry, although this particular admixture is not nearly as common as the aforementioned ones. The term Moreno can also refer to pure-blooded indigenous Venezuelans because of their brown skin, it refers sometimes to olive-skinned pure-blooded descendants of Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese settlers.

The Beacon Royal, also known as the Beacon Court, is an Art Deco block of flats constructed in 1934. This was a time of enormous growth as South Africa and the rest of the world emerged from the Great Depression. All over Yeoville and Bellevue in the years 1933 – 1934, blocks of flats were going up. The Beacon Court is located on stand 1044 at 55 Grafton Road/Louis Botha Avenue in Yeoville, Johannesburg. It was designed for PP Weisholtz by the brothers Obel and Obel who were also responsible for Astor Mansions in Jeppe Street and the Circle Court in Willie Street which overlooked Clarendon Circle at the time.

The Shlom Native Eating House was constructed in 1914 as an eatery for African natives who were involved in trading. The house operated under segregation policies to divide whites from blacks. It is the only remaining example of its type in Johannesburg. Most eating houses catered for mine workers and poorest no mining urban Africans. The Shlom was a symbol of success for the African native, it catered for the black middle class.
