List of Ramsar wetland sites in Pakistan

The Ramsar Convention on wetland protection was signed in Ramsar, Iran in 1971.

As of March 2013, there are nineteen Ramsar sites, covering an area of 1,343,627 hectares (3,320,170 acres) in Pakistan. [1]

The Jiwani Coastal Wetland is a wetland located in Balochistan, Pakistan, near the town of Jiwani. The site is one of the 19 Ramsar sites in Pakistan and was inducted in 2001.

Jubho Lagoon is a large shallow brackish lagoon located in Sindh, Pakistan. In May 2011 Jubhoo lagoon was inducted into the list of Ramsar sites, consisting of wetlands of international importance.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Sirpur Lake</span> Body of water

Sirpur Lake is located on Indore-Dhar Road in Indore. The total area of the lake and its surrounding protected region is 800 acres and falls under the jurisdiction of the Indore Municipal Corporation. The wetland has been designated as a Ramsar site under the Ramsar Convention on 07-01-2022.

Lashari wala Forest is forest located near Taunsa Barrage, a ramsar site in Punjab Pakistan. Taunsa ramsar site is among 19 ramsar sites in Pakistan. Taunsa Barrage was designated a ramsar site on 22 March 1996. The western brink of Head Taunsa Barrage stretches around 5,000-km in Kot Adu Muzaffargarh District of South Punjab, Pakistan, about 90 km from Multan and 10 km from Kot Adu.
