The Saurashtra Premier League (SPL) is a 20-over cricket league in Saurashtra, India. [1] The league has been formed by Saurashtra Cricket Association. The first season of tournament was played between 14 and 22 May 2019. [2] [3] [4] Sorath Lions won the first season while Halar Heroes won the second season.

After a good domestic season in 2012–13, he was signed up by the Royal Challengers Bangalore in February 2013. He finished the 2014–15 Ranji Trophy season as the fifth-highest run-getter. During the 2015–16 Vijay Hazare Trophy, Jackson hit two centuries on two consecutive days of the competition. Jackson made his debut for Saurashtra in 2011 and scored 5634 runs in first-class cricket at an average of 49.42, including 19 hundreds and 27 half-centuries. He was a part of Kolkata Knight Riders IPL team in 2017.

Gujarat Lions was a franchise cricket team based in the city of Rajkot, that represented the Indian state of Gujarat in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The team played in the IPL, along with Rising Pune Supergiant for two season between 2016 and 2017 as one of the replacements for Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals, who were both suspended for two seasons due to illegal betting by their respective owners. The 2018–19 Indian cricket season was the 126th cricket season since the commencement of first-class cricket in India. The international cricket season started early in June 2018 with Afghanistan playing its home matches against Bangladesh. Afghanistan went on to win the T20I series 3–0. The Indian national team started its season hosting Afghanistan for the latter's Test cricket debut. India won the match in two days by an innings and 262 runs. West Indies toured India and lost the Test series 0–2, ODI series 1–3 and the T20I series 0–3. Australia toured India and won the T20I series 2–0 and ODI series 3–2. India also played host to Afghanistan's home games against Ireland. Afghanistan won the T20I series 3–0 and Test series 1–0. The ODI series was drawn 2–2. England women's toured India and lost the WODI series 1–2 but won the WT20I series 3–0.

Rajendrasinh Jadeja, also spelt as Rajendra Raisinh Jadeja aka Rajendra Jadeja, was an Indian cricketer, coach and former BCCI official referee. He played first-class cricket representing Saurashtra, West Zone and Mumbai. He featured in 50 first-class matches and in 11 List A matches.
