Route 205 is a state highway in eastern Connecticut, running from the village of Wauregan in Plainfield to the town center of Brooklyn.
Route 205 begins at an intersection with Route 12 in the village of Wauregan in the north western corner of the town of Plainfield. It heads northwest about 0.5 miles (0.80 km) across the Quinebaug River into the town of Brooklyn. In Brooklyn, it continues northwest through the southeastern part of town until its end at an intersection with Route 169 in the town center of Brooklyn. Route 205 is known as Wauregan Road for its entire length. [1]
In 1922, the road connecting the village of Wauregan and Brooklyn center was designated as a primary state highway known as Highway 144. Highway 144 was renumbered to Route 205 as part of the 1932 state highway renumbering. The route had no major changes since, other than a partial realignment in Brooklyn in 1999. [2]

Route 169 is a 47.36-mile-long (76.22 km) state highway in the U.S. states of Connecticut and Massachusetts. It begins in the city of Norwich, Connecticut, and runs 38 miles (61 km) through Northeastern Connecticut, continuing across the state line into Southbridge, Massachusetts. The route ends in Charlton after another nine miles (14 km). A portion of the route in the town center of Pomfret is on the National Register of Historic Places as Pomfret Street Historic District, and 32.10 miles (51.66 km) of the road is designated as the Connecticut State Route 169 National Scenic Byway.
Connecticut Route 14 is one of several secondary routes from eastern Connecticut into Rhode Island. It runs from the Willimantic section of the town of Windham to the Rhode Island state line in Sterling.
Route 43 is a Connecticut state highway. It is 5.06 miles (8.14 km) long and runs north–south within the town of Cornwall. It connects the town center with the village of Cornwall Hollow near the Canaan town line.
