Kwania District is a district in Northern Uganda. [1] [2] It was formed from the Apac District sub-counties Chawente, Abongomola, Nambyeiso, Inomo, Aduku; and Aduku town council. The other subcounties are Ayabi, Ayabi town council, Akali, Atongtidi and Inomo town council, totalling to 11 subcounties. [3] The current district chairperson from the recently concluded January 2021 elections is hon Ogwal Geoffrey Alex. He assumes office on 20 May 2021. The outgoing interim chairperson is Okello Onac.

Kassiano Ezati Wadri is a Ugandan social worker and politician. He is the incumbent independent Member of Parliament, representing Arua Municipality in the 10th Parliament, effective 29 August 2018. The seat fell vacant when Ibrahim Abiriga of the National Resistance Movement (NRM), was assassinated in June 2018.

Karubanga Jacob Atenyi is a Ugandan politician born on October, 15, 1963 in Kabukye Cell Ward B, Kigumba Town Council, Kiryandongo district is the current Kibanda South County member of parliament and was formerly the Kigumba Town council mayor.
